It's About Time For An Update
Posted on Sunday, December 05 @ 20:46:54 MST by Bob

DFC Racing I know it must seem like I went away for the winter and left you folks hangin, but you should know better than that by now. Things have been pretty busy around here lately and I just haven't had much time in front of my own computer for a while. Let's see,, what's new and exciting? Well, I hear that WCS is going to have a tech inspector this year. Gee, that will be a nice change if it lasts all season. I also see 2 practice days listed so far on their schedule. Umm, I'm not even going to comment on that after what happened to us last year. I'm just looking forward to getting back on the track as soon as possible. That practice day at Lakeville still has me fired up. There are plenty of rumors going around about what a few teams have planned for next season but I can only confirm one myself. The #45 team of Denny Shear and Jeff Facemire will be making some changes for the 2005 season for sure. The #45 car is being rebuilt right now at Bill's shop. When it's done, it will be alot like Ol' #9. We're replacing the entire back half of the car like we did to our own car just a couple years ago. It will be faster, stronger, lighter, and a whole lot purrrtier when it's all back together. These guys are great to work with and I'd love to see Denny sitting in the winners circle a few times in 2005. There's a bit more news from their team but I'm not sure I'm allowed to let it out just yet. You'll have to stay tuned for that update I guess. In other team news, John and Paul Holmes are busy rebuilding their cars for next season. The "Old Man" will be celebrating his 25th racing season in 2005 and we're all hoping it's his best one yet. Paul ended this past season on one hell of a roll so it would be great to see him pick up where he left off. I guess that's about all the news I have for now. Oh yea, we still have a complete late model for sale since I haven't had time to list it anywhere just yet. If you're interested, contact me anytime. The price is right!!
