For any of you out there looking for a great way to get your race car to the track, here it is. It's built on a 1978 Chevy box truck chasis. It's powered by a small block (400?) with a towing/rv camshaft and an automatic transmission. The truck has around 90k original miles on it. All six of the Goodyear Workhorses, and complete brake job have less than 2k miles on them. It also includes a Ramsey winch that was rebuilt less than 3 years ago. I've owned this truck for over 8 years now and it's always served it's purpose well but I found myself a Dodge car hauler recently so this one must go. What can I say? I'm a Dodge man. Anyway, probably the stongest points of this truck are the short wheelbase and more than enough power to get the job done. The wheelbase lets you put this thing places in one shot that would take most haulers 3 or 4 tries. Plus it still drives nice and tight. Yes, it's getting kinda rusty again but the price is certainly right and it's ready to work the way it sits. It comes with a rust free hood also in case you want to make it all purrrrty again. Even if you don't need it for a race car, this thing will pay for itself in many other ways. If you use it to scrap cars or even just rob parts from it to build the hauler of your dreams you really can't go wrong. Hell, I don't care what you do with it as long as it's out of my way soon. It can be yours for $1600 as it sits, or a bit cheaper without the winch if you'd prefer. It's ready to haul your car, truck, tractor, ex wife, or whatever, today! Feel free to contact me for more information or other pics.
