Every year at the end of the season, many teams start making changes for the next season. There's been plenty of changes around here lately so I guess it's time for an update. Today "Old Yeller" was delivered to it's new home, and Bo Yarnell is the proud new owner. If everything comes together as planned, he'll be hitting the track with it next season. Speaking of proud new owners, a new toy arrived at my house today too. I've found myself looking at quite a few race cars lately and not many of them were dirt cars. So I guess I can't really explain what took me to Jeff Wright's house yesterday, but when all was said and done, I ended up owning a C.J. Rayburn Late Model. He dropped it off this morning and I'm already trying to put together a plan to get it on the track for next season. I really want to thank Jeff again for all of his help, and offer of future help if I should need it. I figure I'll be taking him up on that offer. I also want to thank Al Hutchison Jr. for the pics and if you're reading this Al, drop me an email sometime. Bob Smith has already stopped by and offered his talents to help me get the car ready to race, and I'm more than happy to have him onboard. I've always been able to count on him over the years when things have gotten ugly, and it will be nice working with him without the sound of that damn hammer for once. It may take some time to get the whole plan put together for next year, but there's not much of a rush right now. I'm sure it will be a bit of challenge learning these fancy bars and such too, but hell, I like a good challenge. This could get pretty interesting. Stay tuned......
