Just when you thought ol' # 9 wouldn't make it to the track this season, the crew gets busy and pulls off one hell of a stunt. On Saturday morning the rebuild had barely been started but by the end of the day we had a shiny red race car sitting where there was only a pile of parts the day before. With the help of Bob Smith and his son Casey, Bill Franks, and Dave McMillen we were able to accomplish what seemed impossible in a matter of one day. Dave has also offered his services in lettering the car this year and we're more than happy to take him up on his offer. If this thing turns out as nice as his own car, it will be sharp!! I've said it before and I'll say it again, you just can't find a better group of folks than those who make up DFC Racing Team. Without the help of all you folks, we'd be nowhere. THANKS folks!! We ran into a bit of a snag in the motor department though that may set us back. The plan was to have it together in time for the upcoming test day but I just found out that we're in need of some heads. We're trying to track some down now so we may still make it. Stay tuned..........................
