My boss was nice enough to give me almost the whole day off for Thanksgiving, but he's been making up for it ever since. It's been too damn busy to worry about race cars for now but that usually changes quick this time of year.

There's been plenty of rumors about more than just Hilltop lately. I guess it's to be expected during the off season since folks don't have any other racing stuff to worry about. I say we might as well sit back and watch the fun for now.

Well........talked to another promoter last night, they are working on their dates......we are on the verge of setting our dates.

Going to run less events than last year, probably TT races at fairgrounds, since not sure how much we can run at Lakeville, if at all. Would be great to run some at Lakeville, since we've got a better grasp on track prep there.

Since I don't have a regular weekly announcing gig, I'll probably travel around freelancing what I can, and do more syndicated radio work too.

I'd LOVE to make it to some of the AMA Grand Nationals, looks like DMG / NASCAR has done a 180 on last year's schedule.....19 races so far, at many tracks I've never heard of:

Yavapai Downs mile oval in AZ?
The Red Mile in KY? (looks sweet)

But, seems I can barely make it to a race, unless I'm working it.

I'll keep ya posted, since people on this forum seem to be yacking for a change.

Later,
Sigler

Rumors are just rumors until we see some concrete evidence. For now it's just entertainment for us with racing withdrawal symptoms.

No rumor here Dirtman, just let me know when and where to show up with helmet in hand! Saturday nights are kinda dedicated to that other type of racing, but I'll be happy to eat some dirt with somebody else furnishing the seat for once.

I ain't saying a word til they put out their own news. I've been waiting to post news on another track too so I hope these folks at Hilltop hurry up dammit.

All I can say is it sounds like a nice improvement in both cases. Now that silly season is nearly over let's get those cars ready!

Bob, Brian doesn't have a car to put together! Imagine that! he still says he isn't racing. But we will see come march! LOL
I wish them new owners would hurry up too. I've been holding this in long enough and need to get it out! LMAO
Hilltop will be in good hands and can't wait to see what they will do with that place! It's going to be an awesome year on the hill!
